Well its been a really really long time since I've been active on this blog ...

Guess I don't really know what to write about these days

I'm always so busy because its almost the end of IB, and so the end of my highschool life Its weird to think that all my friends will be going to different places, different countries. Some of them will be going to England like me, but there will be a lot of goodbyes.

But then in a way it will be nice to finally move on from this stupid program~

All this work and I don't see a point to it, because I wanna pursue art!

Just some polaroids of me and Hyeonji, realised I haven't uploaded any photos in around 6 months! Madness...

Anyway I need to get to work writing my art statement paragraph for tomorrow.. need to go to school at 11 to hang my art show

Today is not really such a good day for me
Although I'm back in the blogging world, I have no inspiration right now

My baby is going to the army on Monday and that is the same day as my extended essay due date

I think that the national service in Singapore is okay, its not for that long and you can still go home at the end of the day.
Slack and not that much of a big deal

But in Korea its soooo crazy... and I'm finding it so hard to deal with

People keep telling me that its all fine and its all part of being Korean and everything But don't expect ME to be fine with it~
Maybe at first I was, but that was because it seemed so far away, and I felt like everything would just sort itself out.

But now its here, and I can't do anything. Of course its not normal for me, how can I just act like everything is ok I don't feel okay at all.

It could only be ok if he came back, if he came next to me, held me.

Someone help me, I'm drowning.

Graduation Ceremony + Arab Street

Saturday was my little poopie's graduation ceremony~

I thought that in high school you don't graduation with gowns and hats and everything but his school did

Emaar International School... With trousers the same shitty red colour as the text

But soon to be...Excelsior International I don't know it sounds like a hotel....

But anyway there was this whole ceremony with a speech by some random people (headmaster and chairman) and an even more random woman who was telling random stories of her childhood which I didn't really think were relevant for anything and kind of stupid advice. Big company with a big name vs. small "happy" community.... if you want anything in life it IS all about labels.

Really crap quality photo of the graduates sitting down on stage (thats the WHOLE of grade 12 mind you so small like 20 people or something wtf) Can you spot Doo Yang Just kidding don't even try because his head is like blocked dahaha

And then Doo Yang appeared for picture time~ Hahaha he looks so happy... but then so would I if I wasn't gonna come to school EVER again sooooo jealous~

Harry's bar with Jash, his girlfriend, her friend and boyfriend and a lot of family members. Plus the bottle of tequila Doo Yang bought for the after party (but then decided last minute that he didnt want to go anymore ).

Nina said the best thing to Doo Yang that day... "you'd make a really good hobo" Because he even brought shot glasses in a candy tin and a bag of salt~ He said he likes being "prepared".. hahaha

Let me tell you... Doo Yang + Jash + a few tequila shots

Anyway... they finally made it to their graduation dinner (a good 15 mins late mind you...) and I went home to get changed for going out later

Looking at most peoples blogs, it looks like so many people are on hiatus~ Everyone seems to be extremely busy these days

Hopefully I will not be anytime soon~

Even though I have like bucketfuls of work to do... Really... believe people when they say that the IB program consumes your life~

only 25 days of working days left in school though.. and then its back to my hometown...England

Even though I complained about it so much when I was there... I really miss it~

It will be really great to catch up with old friends and see whats happened since I've been gone (judging from pictures on facebook it looks like a lot )

But I don't really have that much time to make a proper post... I HAVE to do this English essay that I've been procrastinating about doing for the past two weeks... so wish me luck on that

Oh~~ and my little cousins are coming on Thursday from Hong Kong....so I will be able to post some cute pics soon~

I know that I screwed up in one of the worst ways possible. I wasn't even thinking... It just flew out of my mouth, I didn't even have time to stop it. It just came, and now I am the most stupid person in the whole world.

Graduation

I can't believe that my little Doo Yang is going to graduate soon~

To me hes still so little and immature and now hes going to leave school~

Today was his last day of school and is now on exam leave...exams start next week~

It's so weird how almost one year ago we weren't even thinking about the future and just enjoying our time together... but now it feels like I should get rid of those childish thoughts

I've been forced to act more mature~ but I feel like I can handle things better now

But imagining my boyfriend in national service for more than a year in Korea kind of scares me... I've heard some not so good things but I just have to think that it will be ok.

But anyway... *slaps self* I shouldn't think of that now right..

Attack of the Rippers

Okay... The title was a bit dramatic but that sort of gives you a hint as to what I wanna blog about...which is rippers~

I really find it incredibly frustrating when people rip my skins... and surprisingly especially when they are nice to me about it

I'm not saying that I take credit for all of my skins. Naturally, I'm not talented enough nor do I have enough free time to come up with an entire code myself. So I use basecodes, but I use those which have been uploaded to blogskins.com, and so were intended for public distribution.

This means I have the right to use it. I was given permission by the creator, who actually wants me to use it and credit them. Otherwise why would they upload it right~

I learn how to edit my codes by studying others. NOT by blatantly ripping them. Indeed it is extremely time consuming and takes a lot of practice... but its not impossible If I can do it anybody can~ (literally )

My biggest problem is when I put so much time and effort into creating a skin that is for me and me only... people go and rip it~

I really don't mind that much if you take inspiration from me. In fact, I find it quite flattering that someone wants their blog to look like mine, and makes me feel I have done a good job. Sure it speaks volumes about their lack of individuality... but there's no crime in that.

I admit that I take inspiration from other peoples blogs too. Most of the time I am a lazy and go with the simple ideas. Most "cute" blogs these days have similar layouts anyway...

But that DOES NOT mean that I go ripping other peoples skins. I understand that I have NO RIGHT to do so, and if I did then it is considered stealing. Online or offline, stealing is what it is. And if you do it, then you are what you are... a stealer.

And the reason I say I hate when people rip my skins and/or images and are nice to me about it, is because they make me feel guilty for claiming back what belongs to me.

Thats like feeling sorry for a mugger because he stole your stuff, but then was really nice to you about it. Does that justify the act that just took place? Because they were nice about it?

I don't like being rude to other people... I really don't. But that is why sometimes I almost wish that when people rip from me they could be rude, and so I could get really angry and threaten them and claim back my shit.

But when they are nice to me, I have to be nice about it too... as I see no reason to be rude if they haven't been.... seriously screw my manners~

I also think its entirely pointless to ask me if you can use my images/skin... but then don't bother to wait for my reply (while I blogged that I was on hiatus for a while due to exams) and go ahead and rip it anyway. Sure you can put the credits... but did I even give permission for you to use it in the first place~

Have you not noticed the little sign on my blog that clearly says:
"My free copyright, registered & protected"

Note the two words copyright and protected.... it means that my site is copyrighted and protected~

Now what does that mean you ask....well it means that my site is copyrighted and protected~

And also, whats even worse is not only do you rip the basecode (which is not even mine but belongs to someone else) but you copy all of my hard work. All of those hours spent editing and refining and adding navigations, colour scheme blah blah blah. All of those hours so what... so you can just steal it? Just like that?

Or even if you rip that...EVEN if you do that.... most people don't even bother to change how I laid out my entire site~!!

Right down to the photo location in the profile, and all of the text is the same~ Just change the info but keep all of the questions and layout exactly the same...

Well guess what... I haven't uploaded my photos yet~!

So I stole Risako's photos off facebook and I will use them instead hahaha

Oh and I'm really lazy to upload all of the photos into one post, so I'm gonna do this one part at a time... like a series~!

Okay so I will start off with Ximin Night Market

Took the mrt there. The mrt in Taipei is a really efficient way to get around~!

Arrived and camwhored~!! We were also meeting some friends there that were also going to Taipei for project week...but we didn't quite manage to take a group photo~!!

Also met Michelle there, who moved from Singapore back to Taiwan a few months back. It was great seeing her again~!

We went to get some food first of course...we were starving~!

Our martial arts coach told us to go on the weekends because there would be more people, and that on a Wednesday night there would be hardly any people...

It was packed~!!!

Plus I don't see why more people makes it better... Less people is better~! Safer and you don't get squished~!

We left it up to Michelle to find us a place to get the best Taipei street food~! I was really excited as I heard so many times that the street food in Taiwan is delicious.

I'd heard a lot about this dish and I really wanted to give it a test myself~!

Stuffed with mushroom/seafood (took those out though because I don't eat prawn or mushroom).

It had a really nice crispy skin, and the tofu inside was really soft and silky. It tasted surprisingly good... but really don't smell it before you eat it~!

I won't describe the smell...because either you know it or I will put you off it. But it tastes good~! Even if you don't like it, its a must try~!

Next up was the oyster omelette.

Actually I ordered mine without the oysters because I don't eat shellfish apart from scallops. I sound so picky but really I eat most foods~!!

The texture was kind of a bit strange, because on the outside it looked like an ordinary egg omelette, but on the inside it was a clear colour, with the texture resembling something like sticky rice cake but more jelly-like. It tasted okay though, and the sauce on top was yummy so I finished it~!

We went to a drinks/fruits stall to get bubble tea~! Taiwan is where it originated from...so you should be able to get the best ones there~!

Do you notice some weird species of fruit/veg there~?!

Have no idea what this is~! Looks like an ill gourd or something.

Me with Taiwan bubble tea~! Ignore my weird face ok and concentrate on the drink~!!!

Hmm...the milk tea tastes the same as the one in Singapore... but maybe a little milkier. They were very generous with the pearls..but they were the smaller kind. I like the big squishy ones~!!

Feeling full we went outside of the food market... thinking that we were going on to the shopping. But then, Michelle told us to wait a while and she went somewhere else.

She came back with...

(excuse the crappy picture) the best crispy fried chicken I have ever had in my life~!!!

It was tender, juicy, hot, crispy, salty and peppery at the same time~! If you want to experience the best fried chicken (guaranteed) gogogogo now~!!!

I had never really liked KFC chicken that much anyway... but this was like 12897831984782386547637 times better~!!

Trust me when I say...its worth the wait~!! Ok I'll stop raving now...

Risako and I bought matching hats~! It was sooo cold there...and they were really cute~!

We didn't take any photos of the actual shopping part...we were too busy fighting our way through the crowds and bargains to have time for that~!

Before we left, we stopped off at a local fruit stall to get some strawberries . Our judo instructor told us that they were in season and very sweet.

The woman there was really nice, offering us samples of the strawberries and other fruits she had for sale

The strawberries were so good~! I think there was some sugar added with them, but even without it they were delicious~! Big and juicy and full of flavour, unlike the small, sour and tasteless ones that seem to be on sale in Singapore.

Goodbye Taiwan...hello Singapore

So.... I am officially back from Taiwan~

And it was a really great trip~

I absolutely promise to upload the photos once I get them on to my computer

Oh and anyone wondering about a great place to spend their holidays in asia then I recommend they go to Taiwan~

The food there is so cheap and good~ Also you can u>buy so many cute things there... like clothes and accessories for really cheap~

I always like to follow the fashion from J-mags like Popteen, ViViand Ranzuki... but there is never really much choice for that kind of fashion in Singapore...or if there is then its usually expensive But in Taiwan... there is so much to choose from and you can buy things like t-shirts for under $5 SGD~

I should also post about my shopping buys as well...

But just for now I'm gonna be extremely lazy and say I will "post soon"

I keep watching the show "16 and Pregnant" online on the MTV website....

I have noticed while watching the show that around 9 times out of 10, the guys end up being douchebags in the end~

I wish that they would finally realise how much responsibility they now have, when they hold their baby in their arms . Don't they want toprotect him/her~

I heard that only until they hold their child do men become fathers. But these guys... they seem to remain the same.

I wish that they would care more about their baby. I wish that they would realise what the girl has gone through...how much pain, how much change and how much growing up.

Do they see their belly grow and swell with each day~

Do they wake up in the morning and have to throw up~

Do they cry or get angry because of the violent mood swings~

Do they have to deal with having someone else inside them~

Do they have to go through the pain of labour~

If they could say yes to any of this, then I would think that yes, they have played a part and suffered... but they haven't.

How can they say that it is hard for them~ After everything she has gone through...and then to have to take care of the baby all on her own ...it's really appalling .

These guys really need a reality check, and need to stop living in denial.

On a completely different note, I went to the Paramore concert on Sunday night~

It was really good, and Hayley is amazing live~

The downside? Why is it that stinky and fat people have to go to concerts and then stand in the mosh pit right next to me~

There was one person there, she was kinda short but she smelt soooo bad (seriously...it was like pulsating and sour ) and I couldn't ignore it~ I had to start moshing to get away from her~

I don't understand how people like that are oblivious to the fact that they really stink~ Don't they have friends that could tell them~

Anyway, there was a rather fun guy there who was crazy~

He put his arm round me and started singing and I had no idea who he was... And then he randomly lifted himself up to be carried by the crowd...

When he returned..he had lost both of his shoes and one sock~ Good luck to him finding them after the concert~

Really sleeepppyyy these days...

More than once I almost fell asleep during class~! I have to start going to bed earlier...

Hmm~~ after Doo Yang came back from Indonesia he brought me a lot of Korean candy ..

This is kind of like a Korean version of Hi-Chew...and its so good ! I had a pack of apple flavour but I ate it all already...

Korean melon candy~~ my boyfriend's favourite! This one is hard and sooo sweet...

Big pile of juicy fruit gum! Actually there was a lot more....

I got 6 packs... Boyfriend kept the rest to himself.... greedy~!!!

Oh and did I mention that I recently bought a lollipop phone??!!!

Its really cute... I'm sure you guys will know what it looks like but I wanna show mine off anyway~!!

Closed lid with the light. Its really customisable~!! Which is great...so I made my name in there... Also the clear part at the bottom of the phone lights up with super-cute LED lights~!! Comes in a lot of different colours.... red, yellow, green, blue, purple, pinkand white. Of course mine is set to pink...

Open phone. Love the big keys which make it really easy for texting ~! Also, the white colour looks so much nicer than the black or silver ones that come with most phones~! Automatic background is so cute... and comes with a calender and clock for convenience...gotta love this phone~!

Menu is the cutest one I've ever seen on a phone~! There is also another one that looks like a washing line...also mega cute! I must admit this was one of the main reason I decided on a lollipop...

I forgot to photograph the back of the phone...but the metal around the rim of the camera is cut so that it looks like its blinged and sparkly....Love love~!!

Oh and I just have to show you guys this feature....

These days seem so stressful and never ending... but at the same time they end up going by so fast.. Sometimes I wonder who is going to catch me when reality comes around. Things can seem ok on the outside...but on the inside you seem to be really shrinking smaller and smaller, and there isn't really anyone that can do anything about it. You feel so small and broken, because everything is beyond your control. You thought it would never come, that it could be overcome, but it was never going to be in your control, it was never up to you. All these things in my mind... about how you keep changing your mind. I can feel so amazingly happy, and in the same instant I can feel completely changed....full of sadness. Sometimes I can wonder what keeps me going in the end...is it really me? Or is it you... I don't want to find out the hard way. I wish things could just continue and never end... keep stretching out like an endless road and none of us would have to care... But I don't think life can be like that for anyone. I guess the happiest people are merely the people who are the best at hiding their sadness, and their hurt. How good of a job am I doing do you think?

Dooyang oppa left for Indonesia yesterday... I'm not used to being without him anymore~

He was flying alone, and told me he will reach at around 11pm . I told him to call me and he never did...

I waited until around 12.30... and finally he came on skype ~ We talked on webcam for a while

I was sooo stressed out because of my psychology IA proposal and my french presentation and my biology test all for today... So I was kind of mean to him...

Mi an hae~~~

I have a really huge headache right now... I think its because I'm really tired...

Anyway~ I will post some pictures of my baby just because I miss him sooo much~

These were all taken on his birthday , 1st of February~ We went to the playground near my house to just spend some time together... and he made something sooo sweet for me, on his own birthday~

I don't have pictures of it, but he made a walkway to this place under some trees in the playground out of little candles~

It led to a heart in the middle~

There was a bit of a problem with the wind blowing the candles out.... But still it was the sweetest thing ever

He even made cards to hold up as well...

Are you jealous now~

Its almost the holidays now... Just 1 more day left of school and then I am free for a week~

For me, I'm excited about sleep time~

I don't have that much of work to do over the holidays.. I just have kind of a lot of artwork to finish off because I want to redo my 1st studio piece of my new series...

I felt like it was so shit and I only gave it in because it was due... art shouldn't be like that~

Most of the time... I feel like I'm such an idiot.

I'm scared ok. I'm really scared. I know that you're so angry with me, and I don't know what to do. I want to call you, but you have to revise. You don't really wanna listen too right?

I hate these times. When you're annoyed at me, I feel like i have nobody. If we break up, I have nobody.

Can't you even realise you're my everything? Maybe I'm just useless at showing how I feel...

Sometimes, when everything comes crashing down, I just don't have anything to say. I know I hurt you.

This situation is so unreal to me. Most of the time, I can't even feel it. But sometimes, if I look at you too long, or I touch you too much, I remember, and it hurts. I can't give you up. I want this week to reach the end faster~

I have two tests this week...

1. Mathon Wednesday [muah DooYang for helping me even though I'm annoying ]

2. Psych on Thursday [completely unprepared ]

But I have the Boys Like Girls concert on Thursday night~ Wheeeeeh so excited for that~

I was gonna go to the Killers concert but it got cancelled. Like on Friday. WTF... can't they cancel earlier...Their concert was supposed to be on Sunday

But I don't really mind that much. Full refund of $135 for Killers ticket, and Boys Like Girls concert ticket = $75. Plus I like them more

Its my Doo Yang's birthday on Monday~

I'm so excited to give him his present haha... I spent a long time making everything really nice... I will post what I gave him after Sunday.

We are going for lunch with Charlotte and her boyfriend (her birthday is on that Sunday.... their birthdays only 1 day apart) and Lydia. Birthday lunch for two people Me and her boyfriend are planning it...

Anyway~ All I need to do is make this week go faster

The other day me and my boyfriend went to the library to watch a movie (yes, we watch movies in the library...not study ).

Have any of you watched Hostel or Hostel part II I love scary movies....and I've seen a lot of weird stuff, but these movies have got to be one of the most disturbing ones I've seen yet

There isn't much suspense, its more about the gore and special effects.... (though which I have to admit are pretty amazing/intense)

Reposting my cbox is a nightmare...the code is messing up my entire blog so if anyone could help me on that, it would be great.

Credits are also under construction, as they will be featured in my "domain" section which I have yet to complete. Don't worry as I have not removed them, but placed them elsewhere.

Other than all of this... isn't my new layout nicer? It has a much more organized feel to it....which is a good start for 2010 I think, because one of my new year's resolutions is to be more organized.
